Well, while you were all snarfing Pinot Noir...I too was tasting. Let me give you the details.
I started with a lovely sparkler....you know how I am with my bubbles! It was an interesting bubbly as it came in a can. It was blue and had the varietal "Club Soda" written on it. I have to assume that is a white grape, rather than a red that has been skinned prior to fermentation. It was bone dry and very fizzy.
Then it was on to serious stuff. This was a Reidel glass tasting. The same varietal was used in each glass. The varietal was called H2o and the label said that it had been purified using the Brita method....whatever that means.
The Riesling glass showed the sweeter side of this liquid. Then it went into the Chardonnay glass, where it seemed to be a bit heavier with hints of oily-ness. Hmm. Interesting. Then on to the Pinot glass where it seemed to mellow out and become elegant. The Cab glass made it bold and sharp. I decided to put it into a water glass to see what happened. WOW!!!! This glass made this H2o stuff shine! What a brilliant find!
Truly, you should all seek out this H2o stuff....it ws pretty tasty!
